Went to a seminar at SoCalCIA given by the Flip This House guy Than Merrill. Most of his systems are about marketing. I don’t remember his exact numbers but 80–90% of his deals are not from the MLS. Marketing, Marketing, Marketing.

I heard a foreclosure seminar on Saturday given to homeowners by a group of local investors. They used bandit signs to attract sellers in pre foreclosure. I like their approach to be able to answer sellers questions and meet face to face. It is a unique way to market their services.
